Was here on a business dinner and we had a private room. The waiters and host were very attentive and got us seated promptly. The decor is very upscale and our room had extremely comfortable chairs haha. I had the squid ink pasta and it was delicious. The portion size was spot on and there was plenty of seafood in the dish. I left feeling satisfied and would recommend this place highly as a nice date or business dinner spot.

Delicious food, good view of Pacific Ocean & La Jolla Cove, and good service. If I've time I'd try George too. We've the ceviche and all the small plates except the mussels - all are good. They don't have outdoor/balcony seating. Parking is a problem, valet $11.

The Hake is a must visit spot offering views of the La Jolla shore line. We were able to sit at a table against the glass and look out at the beautiful ocean during our meal! Our waitress was wonderful. She was super pleasant and a lot of fun. She talked us through the menu and shared a bunch of her favorites with us. The way the menu is created there are a lot of cool dishes with fun twists on them. They serve up seafood dishes with a Mexican style flair. I wish I could name just one thing that stood out but everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The seafood is so good here but what makes it special is the preparation. The opah chorizo and eggs were wonderful because of the soft egg on this dish and the tuna carnitas had a great consistency. I recommend ordering a bunch of plates and sharing. Can't forget a drink from there well-stocked bar also!

They Just did a huge remodel and expanded to get the incredible ocean views that make La Jolla such a beautiful spot. The new place is as big as it is nicely redone, it feels like a cosy yet hip place to rendezvous with friends or family. I've been there twice since it's re opening and can't get enough, always trying new dishes trough their Mexican seafood flavors. Definitely a must when in La Jolla. Now they do tapas style a good idea for an already great place.. Worth the try!!!

This is by far one of my favorite meals I have ever had in San Diego. It is such a special treat. Gorgeous view, amazing view, incredible ambience. The food was so incredibly delicious. The service was great....but if I had to be picky they could know more about the menu...and really have more passion for it. They have an incredible wine list and it is so reasonably priced. The Windracer Pinot was phenomenal. Perfect with the food!! Daniel was the best bartender and so knowledgeable and skilled behind the bar and he had incredible customer service skills. Highlights: Hamachi Tuna tostada The waygu was really good but not great. Octopus was phenomenal. Please please do yourself a favor... don't do dessert (who needs the extra fat and carbs?!) and order a carajillo. The best dessert cocktail ever. You don't even need dessert after this heavenly drink. Overall it was such an incredible dining experience. Great food, great ambience, great service. Loved it!! We will be back. :)
